Start with your XMR amount and a Bitcoin address
Select XMR on Monero for “You send” and BTC on Bitcoin for “You receive.” The form opens with 1 XMR so you can see an example rate straight away. Change it to the amount you want to swap; the receive estimate updates for your selection.
Paste a receiving address from a wallet that accepts Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network. Use an on-chain BTC address rather than a Lightning invoice or a wrapped-Bitcoin token address. If you’re receiving into an exchange account, check its deposit-network instructions first.
See your Monero to Bitcoin rate before you send
AminSwap checks available live quotes for your pair and amount and selects the highest receive estimate returned by its supported routes. The form displays that estimate alongside the current minimum and maximum, so you can review everything in one place.

Send Monero using your order’s payment details
- Check your receiving BTC address, XMR amount and rate type, then create the order.
- Open your Monero wallet and scan the QR or copy the deposit address.
- Match the address, amount and network to the order. Include a memo or payment identifier if the instructions show one.
- Confirm the transfer in your wallet and follow the order page for updates.
Each swap has its own payment instructions. Use the details from the current order, and keep your order reference available until your Bitcoin arrives.
Follow your swap through to Bitcoin
The order page updates as your deposit is detected, the swap is processed and the BTC payout is sent. Completion time depends on network confirmations and exchange processing. Once the order is completed, check your receiving wallet for the Bitcoin payment.
